Tucked away somewhere, I think I still have the very first issue of Wallpaper* magazine, and the above quote was the strapline appearing below the title. Interestingly when it launched in the mid 90s, lining your rooms with patterned paper, couldn’t have been less in vogue, and for me and my contemporaries, the word wallpaper, only ever referred to the monthly (originally bi-monthly) publication. Since then, of course, the pendulum has swung again, and we are indeed surrounded by the stuff. There is now more choice than ever before, and I’ve certainly shot a huge range. Here are just a few.
