Studio is the latest book by best-selling author and designer, Sally Coulthard, published by Jacqui Small, and I’m delighted to have several images included in it. The Observer described the book as:
“a book that really celebrates the personality and idiosyncrasy of creative people.”
In my experience, these artistic workspaces are often some of the most interesting to shoot, with their creative mess as opposed styled perfection. Here are some of the studios which featured in the book.

Shauna Richardson, Crochetdermy Artist

Shauna Richardson

Penny Leaver Green, Fabric Artist

Lene Bladbjerg, Graphic Artist

Gavin Rookledge, Rook’s Books, Bookbinder & Leatherworker

And finally, Print & Card Maker, Sarah Hamilton, who has also just had a book published, House of Cards, (publisher: Pavilion Books), and I’m proud to say, I contributed images to that one too. Over the weekend of May 13th/14th, you can come along to Sarah’s homes studio, just off Sydenham Hill, which she is opening as part of Dulwich Artist’s Open House, where you’ll find her cards and prints for sale.

PS, I’ll also be at Sarah’s Open Studio, with a few of my limited edition range of digitally printed cushions. Would love to see you there!
