Some rooms merit a whole magazine feature all on their own. Forget the rest of the house, when a room is really good, I can happily spend an entire day eeking out every detail of a space. Amber Jeavons’ living room is one such room. I shot it last year for an article in the Times, and it just has it all: good proportions, white walls and floor, allowing light to bounce around the space, generous double doors onto the kitchen, a big sash window overlooking a lush garden, plenty of mirrors to extend the space, a monochrome palette, gold highlights, a dramatic focal point fireplace, and a wonderful selection of well chosen knick-knacks.
One Room Wonder
