Last week was exceptionally busy, with shoots every day, which meant much of the weekend was spent at the computer, editing the results. All the shoots were high end residential projects, and each gave me the opportunity to indulge in one of my favourite types of shot: those wide views that feel almost cinematic in their scope. And I don’t mean standing in a corner with the widest possible lens, but rather, facing a view straight on, and using mirrors, and or doorways to create a lateral image that draws the eye, and occasionally confuses the viewer.
