No, this blog post is nothing to do with my hair colour, although that would certainly be true. Instead it refers to the increasingly popular use of grey in interiors. Having said that, there isn’t really any such colour, as I discovered when we painted our living room a while back. It’s either tinged with green, or beige, lilac or blue, and paint it on two different walls and it looks completely different. Like the sea, it reflects light, and can change its mood dramatically.

Best of all, it goes with anything. Unlike beige (thank God that’s over), which can sap the life out of a space, it’s the perfect neutral, and colours placed over it, positively ping!

As a Photographer, I just love the way it responds to natural light. All the images below are shot with the rooms’ lights off, and in the main, without any additional lighting from me.
