Congratulations to my client, Sally Dernie who is celebrating 10 years running her own design business. I think I shot her first jobs way back in 2004, so it’s great to have followed her career ever since. A few have featured on the blog, first there was a lovely sitting room by the sea in Brighton: Sitting Pretty, then a trip to the Kent countryside in Creature Comforts, and finally one of my favourite rooms of last year, a library in a Victorian house in South London: Book Worms. Her work has also attracted the attention of the press, with features appearing in House & Garden, and the Saturday Times Magazine.
This latest project is a bedroom in West London. Sally has already designed much of the rest of the house, and the bedroom continues in the same elegant and understated vein, with wonderful fabrics, exquisite art, and bespoke joinery, all beautifully finished. So congratulations again Sally, and here’s to the next ten years!
